Behaves in an ethical, reflective and professional manner
| I attended parent teacher conferences in November 2004 during student teaching. This was a very enlightening experience. I learned a lot by listening to the cooperating teacher talk to parents, hearing the types of questions and concerns parents had. I liked that my cooperating teacher invite the students to participate during the conference. In the Spring, she has a student led conference. I learned a lot by listening, as well as participating at times. |

| Instead of pre-student teaching, I did a lot of long term substituting. This enabled me to have a lot of experience with opening the school year, creating a classroom management plan, setting up the schedule, and starting the school year off in a new school. It was a very educational experience. This is a letter of recommendation from the principal. |
| While working at the school, I often gave of my time with PTA activities. The PTA awarded me with a PTA Volunteer of the Year Award in 2004. |
