I woke ungodly early again for no good reason. I was suppose to go to the bank with a bunch of the girls today, but I got a better proposal. Ann knocked on my door when I was listening to my music as well as cleaning my room and sorting trash. In Japan one has to separate burnable & nonburnable. On Monday and Thursday that is when burnable is picked up. Wednesday is when nonburnable. And I forget was day is for cans and papers. Anyway, Ann came in and asked if I wanted to go to the alien registration with her today as well as with her friends to Tokyo Tower. so... i kinda wanted to go with ann... We discovered that the immagration office is not near the 99yen shope rather the bus station is near the 99yen shop. We took bus 61 to Shinjuku, and it was only a block away. On Japanese buses they display the bus stop name in Kanji as well Romaji, which is nice for us NON kanji people. Today I figured out how to write Shinjuku though. It was a rather easy process but the alien registration ppl did not speak english whatsoever. We had to wait 10 minutes and then we received a paper telling us that we would have to wait 2 weeks to come back and get our cards. It was only 11:20am then and we did not have to meet Ann's friends until 3:00pm. So we got to look around. Most of Shinjuku's streets had the same pattern, food, porn, kareoke, porn, ramen, porn, porn, sushi, porn. So I am trying to say that their was a lot of porn and peep shows from what I could understand. I wanted to go to a DVD or book store but most of them were porn, so Ann and I tried to stick to the main streets. We found a decent CD, and looked at the anime section. I discovered that Bob in the Bobble is in fact anime....My brother was right. None of the DVD's had English subtitles, i looked. Then we ate at Lorette, I bought an ebihamburger, and some sort of icecream that had ice in the bottom and beans in the middle. It was really good. That left me full, and before that I found an arcade that had some good prizes. I almost won a berserk toy. The way the machine worked is that one puts 100yen in the machine, and their is this spinning wheel. At I belive 7 points on the wheel it is positive points and the rest is negative. If you get it up 6 points then you get the toy but one only has three tries. These games are ADDICTIVE!!! So we walked back toward the JR station, and I showed Ann the place where I was looking at cell phones the day before. The same guy was still working there. I pointed to the one that I was interested in and he gave me a price that I could not refuse. So i bought a cell and had a service plan, but the best thing about these cell phones is that ppl can call me and it does not cost me anything. So Ann and I were looking for the North gate in Shinjuku Station, we waited a long time and could not find her friend, so we gave up... Later we found out that their is no north exit, and I could remember the kanji of North, or how to say it. So we walked back towards the bus station and I started complaining that I have been in Japan and I have not been to one anime store yet..... Just as I was complaining we found an anime store. It's name is Mandarake, I believe... ohh they had sooo much stuff. I saw sooo many neat things. I ended up buying the .hack capsule set and an empty love hina dvd box, and a pichu watch. The cost was very inexpensive. So then I went back home with a cell phone and new anime stuff. Everyone was in awe of my cell, I kinda felt special. So I was playing with for a little; the phone is bilingual, the manuals are not... and their are three of them. Apparently their is a store in Chiyoda-ku, which is the same area as my school, that has an english speaking staff. Maybe I will go there one of these days. So I had dinner set up figures and I hooked up my cell so that it could charge. Off to sleep..
