So I decided to wake up today and clean despite my strong desire to stay completely snuggly in my warm bed. Yeah, I got up and cleaned the stairs, what fun. I figured that I spent all of the energy to get up that I might as well get something to eat. So I had some bread, and i decided to make milk tea without the tea. I grabbed the milk, put in some sugar, placed it in the microwave, hora, milk tea. It was really good though. Minori was still sick and acting as though she was dying so I told her to get better. I did some business online and then proceeded to head to school since I had not studied for my Japanese quiz. Walked to school, went to the library, took out the appropriate book and studied. I headed to class about 10:30am and Joseph ran into me and said, "THANK GOD there is another person here because I was going to go insane with no one to talk to." Our conversation was brief and when Kyaa entered his interests were diverted. Anyway we started talking and i was informing them of all of the interesting tidbits of Japanese society that I had learned the other day, namely bad words. Oh well class started and we had our vocab quiz which seemed easier than usual, and i was paying little attention as usual. After class Ceceil and i headed to Lawsons and we grabbed some onigiri, and headed for Akihabara. First stops, Gamers, which I showed her all of the interesting things that I had seen before like the cute miso bowl, rice, and chopstick set with digicharat figures on it. I also showed her the roger rabbit figure that was made exclusively in Japan. Next, I showed her where I had purchased my dictionary and then had a newer model that had more functions than mine but had the same dictionary. The guy was very helpful to Ceceil, but he seemed rather bothered by the fact that she did not buy it. We kept walking and we stopped at Animate, and looking around I noticed that there was an anime for the Manga that I had purchased, it was called harenochiguu, and it was only 2,000 yen, very very tempted. Most of the DVD's as well as everything else was rather steep in price. Next stop Aso bit city, where they had all of the domo-kun stuff, so I bought my friend the present that seemed most appropriate. Zelda for gamecube had just come out, as did the new Ayumi Hamasaki cd, and I they had demos for Panzeer dragoon, and I think that most mean thing is that they are coming out for Final Fantasy Tatics advance the week after I leave. We both realized that we were hungry, so we stopped at AM PM. I decided to be daring and I bought a chiizuman, it was rather good because it had I believe American cheese in the middle. Ceceil bought her pan, which I believe is one of the most addicting things ever, atleast in Japan. We walked to the other side of the street and up. We stopped at this used video game/dvd store, and ended up buying Sen to chiro for fairly cheap, 2,400yen. We kept walking and then we went to Game soft and I was drooling over Unlimited Saga. We went to the different levels and i figured out that one needs 5 para para paradise controllers to play the game. Ceceil bought some Yugi-o cards for her brother, and then we left. We stopped at this one store to look at the electronic dictionaries and the guy at the store was slightly rude and obnoxious. I thought it was funny but Ceceil it werided her out, but then I thought that he might have figured her for being Japanese. We walked down to Game 1 and looked at all of the pretty dvd's and i was looking through the free posters to see if there was anything good. Then I noticed that there was these 3 boxes that I did not notice before and the guy came to us and said, "not free." We kinda felt dumb but at the same time there was no price on the posters, no names, and it is only common that is how they give away posters. Ceceil and I left kinda embrassed. We walked back to the first place where she was looking at the electronic dictionary and she bought it. Then we headed to Loas, and looked at all of the sounvenirs and i ended up buying a few, and i will be happier once I am done omiyake shopping. Ceceil and I decided to skip school on friday so that we can go to Harujuku. When we left it was about 6:00pm, and then we parted ways. i received an e-mail from Jai Lee concerning my whereabouts..... By the time I got home I was exactly on time for dinner, lucky me, but my back was killing me from wearing a backpack all day. Dinner was expectionally salty, and we had strawberries for the first time for dessert. Apparently one can put the strawberries in a glass, mush them up, add milk and then sugar. I only discovered this after I had ate my strawberries. Jai Lee wanted to go to book off, but she was too full, so I decided to finish up a few things while I waited.
