Shippo is a small but courageous fox demon Inuyasha and Kagome meet when they are travelling. Originally Shippo tried to steal their Jewel Shards so he could lure the Thunder Brothers, who had killed his father, to him and avenge his father. Shippo loves to cling to people, especially Kagome, who he looks up to as a mother. He hates it when Inuyasha and Kagome fight and he wants to grow up to be strong like his father.
