Koga is the leader of the wolf demon tribe who originally encountered Inuyasha and the others when he kidnapped Kagome because she could see the Shikon shards. Eventually after being with her he fell in love with her and proclaimed that she was his "woman". When Kagome told him she was seeing Inuyasha he vowed to kill Inuyasha so she could fall in love with him instead. So everytime the two guys meet they fight, which poses a problem for Inuyasha since Koga is lighting fast because of the two Shikon shards in his legs and a third in his right arm. Koga is also seeking revenge on Naraku for slaughtering some of his tribe.
