Kagura is one of the reincarnations of Naraku, and so she is forced to serve him even though she hates him. She often attacks Inuyasha and the rest of the gang but once she realized how much she hated Naraku she stopped trying as hard to defeat them, and began even rooting for them. She even tried to convince Sesshomaru to kill Naraku. Kagura is also very ruthless, she doesn't care at all about killing people who are against her.
