Episode 61: Kikyo and the Dark Priestess - I Won't Run and Leave You!
Kagome's body is being controlled by the Dark Priestess, Tsubaki, who has cursed Kagome and told her to kill Inuyasha for Naraku. Inuyasha is in Kaede's hut and Kagome is about to shoot an arrow at Inuyasha.
Kagome: Please...run!
Inuyasha: Kagome! You fool! As if I'd leave you and run! *runs toward her*
Naraku: *in Kagome's head* Kill Inuyasha!
Kagome: *cries as she shoots the arrow*
Meanwhile Kikyo has entered Tsubaki's hideout and destroyed Naraku's demon puppet. Tsubaki is distracted by her appearance and loses control over Kagome. Back in the hut Inuyasha has narrowly dodged the arrow.
Inuyasha: Kagome...
Kagome: *collapses*
Inuyasha: Kagome! *catches her*
Kagome: Inu...yasha...
Inuyasha: Are you alright?
Kagome: Uhuh. The voice in my head is gone.
Inuyasha: Kagome...
Kagome: *picks her head up* Take me! I can sense it! The presence of the Sacred Jewel!
Inuyasha takes her on his back and they head off.
Kagome: Inuyasha...I'm sorry.
Inuyasha: You didn't shoot that arrow! Don't worry about it!
As Kagome draws nearer to Tsubaki the Sacred Jewel becomes purified.
Kagome: Inuyasha, why didn't you run away?
Inuyasha: I already told you! I wouldn't leave you!
Kagome: One wrong move and it would have ended up like that time with Kikyo.
Inuyasha: Even if that did happen, I wouldn't have run! I'm gonna stay by you! So don't bring it up again!
