Episode 37: The Man who Fell in Love with Kagome - Inuyasha's Jealousy (Entire Episode)

Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango and Shippo have been trying to get to the Wolf Demon's lair to save Kagome, who has been kidnapped by the Wolf Demon Koga. The Wolf Demon tribe and the Birds of Paradise are fighting one another for Jewel shards and in the middle of the battle Koga has left Kagome to go after the leader of the Birds of Paradise. Then suddenly a Bird of Paradise dives for Kagome...

Inuyasha: KAGOME! *jumps and slices the Bird in half*

Kagome: Inuyasha... *runs and hugs him* I was so scared!

*Sango, Miroku and Shippo arrive on Kirara*

Sango: Kagome, are you alright?

Kagome: Sango! Miroku!

Shippo: Kagome! *jumps into her arms*

Kagome: Shippo!

Kagome says they have to do something about the Birds of Paradise, so Miroku sucks them up using his Kazaana. Koga is up on the mountain watching all of this.

Koga: That mutt-face...what a time for him to show up. *yelling down to Inuyasha* I have no time to take you on right now. I'll let you go for today. So just go! Inuyasha: Shut up! You dared to kidnap Kagome and you're gonna pay right now! Koga: Kagome? Hey, mutt-face. You can run away, but keep your hands off my woman. Miroku: Your woman? Koga: A woman who can see the Sacred Jewel...now she's perfect for me. Inuyasha: W-what?! Miroku: Kagome, did you hear what he said? Kagome: I-it's a lie! He's just making it all up! Inuyasha: *looking from Kagome to Koga* W-why you! How dare you tell such lies?! Koga: I'm not lying! Kagome is my woman! I'm in love with Kagome! Kagome: *dumbfounded* Koga: Kagome is better off with me! Much better than sticking to some weak mutt! So that she can make a clean break from you...I'm gonna kill you one day! Then Kagome...you'll be free to fall in love with me! *laughs* Shippo: What a forceful guy! Miroku: Actually, I'm quite envious of his personality. Inuyasha: *seething* Why you...! Calling her Kagome, Kagome, Kagome...acting so familiar with her...! *leaps after Koga* Koga: *turns around as he's heading for the Bird of Paradise* Fool! I'm too busy, I said. Go away! *continues climbing the mountain* Kagome: The Sacred Jewel fragment! *yelling* Koga! It's up higher! Inuyasha: *stops climbing and looks at her* W-what?! She's calling out to him? (NOTE: In the Japanese version Kagome yells Koga-kun, the familiar way to address someone, and this is what bothers Inuyasha. He turns around shocked and repeats, Koga-kun?)

Koga reaches the top of the mountain and the Bird of Paradise with the Shikon Jewel shard attacks him. Koga goes for the shard in its mouth but the Bird bites his arm and in the process his Jewel shard falls out and the Bird takes it. Koga is cursing wounded when Inuyasha walks up and destroys the Bird with Kaze no Kizu (Wind Scar).

The bird defeated, everyone assembles at the foot of the mountain. Inuyasha: *walking into the circle around Koga* Now then, we've gotten rid of the pesky birds, so let's settle this once and for all! *jumps back shocked as he sees Kagome holding Koga* She's hugging him! Kagome: Settle this once and for all?! This is no time for that! Koga is hurt! Koga: *grimacing* This is nothing! *tries to get up* Kagome: Koga, hang on! Inuyasha: *still shocked* Why is she taking his side?! Koga: *getting up* I can kill the likes of you with just my left arm! Inuyasha: Are you still insulting me? *runs towards Koga* Prepare yourself! Kagome: Inuyasha, sit! Inuyasha: *falls to ground* Koga: *collapses* Kagome: *to his tribe* Make your escape now! Hurry! Hakkaku: Oh...okay! Ginta: Koga! Hakkaku: Let's go. *carry Koga away* Inuyasha: Hold it! You! *growling* Why'd you let him go? Kagome: Well, he was hurt and...besides, he wasn't all that bad. Inuyasha: *gets up furious* Not bad?! Cut the jokes! Weren't you kidnapped and almost killed?! Kagome: Well yes. But he did protect me, too. Sango: So you fell in love with him? Miroku: Well, after he declared his love so bodly, how could she hate him? Inuyasha: *turns his back on Kagome* Stupid! Forget it! So day breaks and Kagome, Sango, Miroku and Shippo gather the two Jewel Shards from the Bird of Paradise. Then Sango tells Kagome to go talk to Inuyasha, who's sitting alone a little ways away, because he was really worried. Kagome: *walks up to Inuyasha* Oh Inuyasha. Inuyasha: *turns his head away* Kagome: I'm sorry I worried you. Thank you so much for saving me. *sits next to him* Inuyasha: Wouldn't you have preferred that I didn't save you? Kagome: Huh? Inuyasha: Taken in by his sweet words. Kagome: Sweet words? Because he said he loved me? Is that what's bothering you? Inuyasha: *jumps up* What're you saying?! Nothing's bothering me! Kagome: It is bothering you. Let me make one thing clear, I don't feel anything for Koga! Inuyasha: *stands up straight* Hah! I didn't ask that! *turns away* Forget it! Let's not talk about it anymore! Kagome: *sighs* Inuyasha: Say. *turns back and squats looking at her* What really happened between you two? Kagome: *shocked then smiles innocently* Inuyasha... *breathes heavily and yells* Just what are you suspecting me of?! Is that how you've been seeing me?! Inuyasha: *stands up shocked and yells back* W-what're you scolding me for?! Kagome: *stands up* Because you've totally misunderstood! Inuyasha: Shut up! I don't want to see your face anymore! Just go away! Kagome: I see! Sango! Sango: What is it? Kagome: Can I borrow Kirara? Sango: What're you going to do? Inuyasha: *folds his arms* Hah! Planning to go to Koga? Kagome: *maximum rage* I'm going back home! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
