Episode 19: Go Back to Your Own Time Kagome - First Hug (Entire Episode)

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are in the middle of battling and Kagome shoots an arrow at Sesshomaru. He dodges it and goes to attack her but Inuyasha yells and attacks him. After Sesshomaru dodges him, smirking and says, "You act pretty swiftly...when it comes to that girl."

Later in the battle when Kagome shoots another arrow Sesshomaru melts it and then uses Tetsusaiga to attack her. Inuyasha sees the attack coming and runs in front of her at the last moment, shielding her. They're both blown backwards and Inuyasha smashes his head. He takes Kagome's head in his hands and see she's unconcious. Inuyasha gets angry and yells, "Sesshomaru...how dare you hurt Kagome...!" The situation seems hopeless since Miroku can't use his Kazaana because of Naraku's insects, so Inuyasha tells Miroku and Shippo to take Kagome and run. When Shippo begins to protest he turns to them and quietly says, "Please...don't let Kagome die." Then Sesshomaru raises the Tetsusaiga and says, "As if you can run, I'll destroy everyone of you!" Inuyasha charges at Sesshomaru and yells, "As if I'd let you!" He grabs Sesshomaru's arm as he begins to use the Tetsusaiga, and stops its attack. Sesshomaru plunges his claws through Inuyasha's stomach, leaving a hole. Kagome wakes up when she hears Inuyasha's scream and tries to go to him but is stopped by Miroku. After Sesshomaru removes his claws from Inuyasha's stomach Inuyasha rips off his human arm and takes back the Tetsusaiga. After Sesshomaru leaves Kagome runs to Inuyasha, who says "Kagome" and then collapses.

After Inuyasha revives they all go back to the village on Hachi and when they arrive...

Inuyasha: Kagome...come with me. *gets up and begins to walk* Kagome: *runs after him* Say...! Are you alright, Inuyasha? Even if you're built strong it's still too early for you to be walking around. Inuyasha: *winces as she touches his arm* Kagome: See! I told you so! *begins to walk with him* *Miroku and Shippo begin to follow* Inuyasha: *turning around annoyed* You guys don't have to come! *walks off by himself* Kagome: He seems stronger than I first thought. The two of them are walking along when Kagome notices an herb and stops. Kagome: Kaede taught me that this herb is the best antidote for poison. I'll brew some tea with it later. And this one here is a good antiseptic. It really works, but it also stings something awful. Inuyasha: *puzzled* Kagome... Kagome: Yes? Inuyasha: You've become strong. Kagome: I know! After all, I spend each day running away from demons. I'm much stronger than your average ninth grader. I've gotten pretty good at archery too. *keeps walking* Inuyasha: *goes and sits against the well* Kagome...how are you feeling? You're injured, aren't you? Kagome: Huh? I just got a lump on the head. I'm sorry Inuyasha. I know you told me to stay away from Sesshomaru but I ended up getting in your way. If I hadn't been moving around close by you wouldn't have gotten hurt so badly. Inuyasha: Nah...actually your arrow saved me. I'm grateful Kagome. Kagome: *puzzled* Grateful?! What's wrong with you, Inuyasha? You really are acting strange. *bends down* You must have a fever. *feels his forehead* Shippo: *watching from behind the bushes* That Inuyasha...what does he intent to do taking Kagome so far into the forest?! Miroku: *also watching* Shh! Inuyasha: You must've heard too about Naraku who lured me into a trap 50 years ago. He's the one who's pulling the strings behind Sesshomaru. Kagome: So he knew. I guess...Inuyasha's the one most alert to Naraku's movements. Inuyasha: That's why we might face even greater danger. Kagome: You may be right. Inuyasha: *leans in* Is that all you have to say?! Kagome, aren't you frightened? *starts to get up* This time we came out of it still breathing but... Kagome: I'm not afraid! Naraku is an awful demon! We must destroy- Inuyasha: *grabs Kagome and hugs her, squeezing her tight* Kagome: *shocked* Inu...yasha... Inuyasha: I...was afraid. Kagome: Huh? Inuyasha: At the thought of you dying...I was scared. Miroku: *pressing Shippo's face into his robe while staring intently* Shippo: Hey Miroku...what are you doing?! Miroku: This is not for children to see. Inuyasha: *squeezes her again, then throws her to the ground* Kagome: Eh! Inuyasha: *stands up holding the Shikon Jewel* I'll hold this. Kagome: *stands up* The Sacred Jewel fragment! Inuyasha: You must never come back to this era again! Kagome: Huh?! Inuyasha: *pushes Kagome down the well* *Miroku and Shippo both shout and run out* Miroku: Inuyasha! What are you doing?! Inuyasha: Kagome is gone! Miroku: Inuyasha! Inuyasha: *sadly* The other side of the well...is where Kagome truly belongs.

On the other side of the well Kagome climbs out furious. She tries to go back to teach Inuyasha a lesson when she realizes she can't get back because he took her Shikon Jewel shards.
