Episode 33: Kikyo Captured by Naraku - Confrontation with Kikyo

Kikyo has just tried to kill Kagome by shooting an arrow at her and taking her Shikon Jewel, and Kagome has been dragged into a pit. Inuyasha has been trapped in Naraku's Illusionary Dream, and he is in the burning village from 50 years ago with Kikyo. Inuyasha: *hugging Kikyo* Rest assured...I will always protect you. *remembers* What's that? Does it mean there is another I must protect? Who? Who is the other one I must protect? *remembers Kagome's smile* Kagome... *releases Kikyo* That's right! What happened to Kagome? Where's Kagome?! Kikyo: Inuyasha! Is that girl more precious to you?! *arms extend* Inuyasha: This was all an illusion! He draws Tetsusaiga and the illusion disappears. He frees Miroku and finds Kagome in the pit. Inuyasha: Kagome! Kagome! Kagome: *waking up* Inu...yasha... Inuyasha: *helps Kagome up* Kagome! If you touch these vines, you'll get caught in an illusionary trap. You seem to be okay. Kagome: Uhuh. Inuyasha: *carries her out of the pit* Kikyo: *waiting for them* Inuyasha: Kikyo! *sees the Shikon Jewel* That's...Kagome's Sacred Jewel! Kagome...? *looks at Kagome* Kagome: *scared and breathing heavily* Inuyasha: Kikyo...what did you do to Kagome?! Kikyo: What's the matter Inuyasha? Aren't you going to rejoice that I am well? Inuyasha: Answer me Kikyo! What did you do to Kagome? Kikyo: If I tell you that I tried to kill her...what will you do then? Will you kill me? Inuyasha: *angry* Kikyo: What captured your heart when you were under Naraku's illusionary spell? *laughs* I doubt that you can kill me. *gets carried away by her demons* I will be waiting for the day we can embrace death together. Inuyasha: Kagome...what happened with Kikyo? Kagome: She took my Sacred Jewel fragment...I'm sorry. Inuyasha: I'm not asking that!! Did Kikyo...?! Kagome: Don't ask! Inuyasha: Kagome... |
