E-Government Initiatives

Overview:

eGov is the official website of the Presidents E-Government initiative. This site is a good launch point to research the projects and scope of E-Government.  Links to the E-Gov Channels  are available as well as a detailed spreadsheet of the Twenty-Four e-Government Initiatives are also available for public consumption.

Discussion:

This combination of websites allows the reader to gain insight into detailed descriptions, progress, and next step plans of initiatives such as benefits, rulemaking, disaster management, and e-clearance.

Analysis:

This is the place to go to begin your E-Gov information search.    The tabs and links are well laid out and clear in function.  The E-Gov initiative has fostered literally thousands of web pages attached to the many divisions.  This is a broad topic with many avenues to explore.  Therefore, a small group of G2C, G2B, and G2G sites have been selected for discussion in the next section.

Recommendation:

Continue to provide information of value to the customer.
