Basics - Fatigue
All units incur fatigue. This can be due to marching or moving, firing on opponents or taking fire or being attacked by enemy units. The first table below lists all actions for which a unit incurs fatigue.

A fresh unit begins with a fatigue value of 0, the best possible situation. As it performs on the battle field this value will rise and when reaching certain values, the unit will experience disadvantages:

  • A fatigue value of 100 or above will prohibit the unit from firing or moving on the tactical map.
  • With a value of 130 or above the unit will no longer be able to march strategically.
  • Finally, at a fatigue value of 160 or higher, the unit will surrender.

The example at the bottom of this page shows a typical situation with the increasing fatigue values while a unit advances and takes fire from the opponent.
