Grandma bought Skylar a beautiful wrought iron (HEAVY) bed!

Bob made sure Skylar had beautiful furniture to go with her new bed!

Skylar had begged for a blue room and that is what she got. She has a beautiful crystal chandelier, fuzzy blue carpet and white furniture to go with her white bed. The painters had problems with this room since it was painted different than any other room. They put a painter in the room who couldn't read or speak english, so he didn't realize my note attached to the door was important. They started to paint the room with the other house colors instead. I had them re-do it, and they argued about how it would work if I left the ceiling the wrong color, but Bob and I had purchased white paint especially for her ceiling and we had them redo it. In the end, they saw why a yellow ceiling would not have worked in that room. She is shabby chic and it is very pretty! We have since added white organza drapes and two lamps with blue roses on them! Very pretty!
