I think that the only hope for this house to have curb appeal (other than remove some trees, put in some dirt, plant some grass..) is to bring the dirt up around the part of the concrete foundation that shows way too much. You won't see this change for awhile because we have to do the inside of the house first, but as I sit here making this website, I thought I would put this online now so I can find it if I need it! As I type this, I realize I won't have my computer for several weeks when we move and I want to know this info is saved somewhere for later!
I think I want to terrace the garden, though, on the left side, with a possible tree on the lowest level, then bring it to the stairs, and I want the stairs to be larger, and to wrap around the corner of the front porch and then come down. The entry is just too small in comparison to the house. At the base of the stairs on the right, I think I want to build up the soil for another garden/tree area and let the walk way go in front of that garden in a relaxed or meandering way to the driveway. People have to park on our driveway at this house, so there has to be a walkway leading them there.
