Breakfast in our backyard!

We have two kinds of deer that stop by!

These are OUR deer by the way! We feed them, so they are ours!

We have more than deer in the yard. We have scrubjays, tufted titmice, chickadees, cardinals, wrens, sparrows, turkey vultures, black vultures, roadrunners (which are cuckoos) and we should have some goldfinches migrating this way.

We also have hummingbirds! We have black chinned, roufus, and ruby throated hummers! They are really aggressive. They fight and run into things, like the windows. I got to hold one when it was knocked sensless against the glass. Another one ran beak first into the screen and stuck like a dart! Bob likes the way they buzz past his ears like those things the imperial guards rode through the forest in the Star War Movies!
