This has no grout, and the tiles are not all laid yet.

This has grout, and a haze that it took a professional floor cleaning company to remove!

They did a pretty good job on the tile here. There are places where they didn't snap a line and the tiles curved a little, but that was in the laundry room and no one will ever notice it. They did have to redo some tile on the backsplash in the kitchen and the tile on the fireplace was redone as well, but I don't like it and Bob and I refused to pay for it. I have the painters coming back soon to take it all down and just put plaster up for me.

Another problem was that, being inexperienced, they didn't wipe off the grout as soon as it was applied, and the result was they cleaned the floor repeatedly for days until I finally said "STOP" and made the interior decorator hire a professional floor cleaning company to fix the problem.

My only complaint about the floor tile itself is that the sample we saw didn't mention that the colors vary from light to dark as much as they do, and had I known that I would have just chosen another tile, but it is here and it is nice so I will just enjoy it. If I could do it all over again, the floor would be in flagstone!
