Painting

It was such a mess in the house that we spent over two months in an apartment. We finally had to move in, and it wasn't pretty. The next page will tell you about the worst day of MY life in this house, but before you go there, I wanted to show you how the transition looked. The construction workers had ZERO respect for the parts of the house that we were keeping, such as the countertops. I kept cleaning them, and they kept destroying them. I even cried for them at times.. and they were sympathetic only when it concerned their work. The painters were mad at the tile guys, the tile guys were not helpful with the painters.. they all had to redo stuff because of each other getting "in the way" and I will never again have two opposing crews work on my house at the same time!
