The Bordes Family

The Bordes's came to this country from the Alsace area of France.

During the late 1800's in New Orleans, I have found records of several members of the Bordes family working as dairymen or farmers. John Peter Bordes, whose father was born in France, married Leona DaSilva in Orleans Parish in 1896. In the 1900 census, John's occupation was a Dairyman.

Neil's grandmother, Gertrude Bordes, married Walter Schlaudecker in New Orleans in the late 1920's.
