1. Increased focus on, and dissatisfaction with, your body shape.
2. Loss of contact with, and trust in, natural and healthy internal mechanisms for determining when you are hungry and full.
3. Increased involvement with unhealthy forms of weight measurement: crash diets, skipping meals, laxatives, compulsive exercising, diet pills and diuretics (water pills).
