1. Obsession with food.
2. Uncontrollable hunger and binge eating.
3. Unusual eating and drinking habits.
4. Depression, irritability, and other emotional disturbances.
5. Social withdrawal.
Note: These problems will persist long after food becomes readily available and there is an opportunity for healthy eating.
