Risalah Liqa' Allah [Treatise on
Beatific Vision]
(Tehran, 1382 AHS (2003)),
148 pages,

This translation
project is the subject of a three-month contract

The late
'Allamah Hasan Mustafawi was a great mystic,

SMERI
completes Filipino translation of DILP fact
sheets
Posted: November

Intended for
"In
a Nutshell", the Ahlul Bayt Digital Islamic
Library Project (DILP) web site’s special
interface for fact sheets in different
languages, the Writing and Translation
Department (under the Research Bureau) of
Shajaratun Muntazirah Educational and Research
Institute (SMERI) finished yesterday the
translation of fact sheet on self-admiration (‘ujb).
With the
translation of this remaining fact sheet,
Filipino language becomes the first language
among the 24 languages at DILP’s “In a Nutshell”
to have completed the translation of all 30
existing fact sheets. The next leading language
is Swahili with 15 translated fact sheets
followed by German and Spanish with 13 and 12
translated fact sheets respectively.
Among these fact
sheets in Filipino, the one about
hijab
is downloaded most from our web site, followed
by those about what non-Muslims say about Islam
and the 12 successors of the Prophet (s)
respectively.
Meanwhile, the
fact sheet about the incumbency of following the
Prophet’s family has the highest approval
rating (4 counts of ‘outstanding’) followed by
the ones about non-Muslims’ view about Islam
(with 2 counts of ‘outstanding’, 1 ‘very high’
and 1 ‘high’) and the manner of performing
prayer (with 2 counts of ‘outstanding’).
Early last month,
SMERI has also embarked on the translation of
these fact sheets into Cebuano, and two fact
sheets (what non-Muslims say about Islam and
Prophet Muhammad (s))
are already translated and available online at
our web site.
According to our
Cebuano Translation Team, one or two more fact
sheets will be translated this month and be
available online,
insha’
Allah.
In order to
expedite the translation of 30 fact sheets
presently available in DILP web site, SMERI is
inviting other voluntary Cebuano translators,
both inside and outside the country, to join the
team.
Ideally, in
addition to our two translators constituting the
Cebuano translation team, eight more translators
are needed to be divided into five groups of two
(translator and editor) to be assigned to the
five sets of fact sheets, viz. Beliefs, Laws and
Practices, Personalities, Merits of the Soul,
and Diseases of the Soul.
Anyone who wants
to take part in these voluntary efforts may email
us at
[email protected].
Cebuano
is the second largest spoken language in the
Philippines and is the dominant language in
Visayas and Mindanao, the central and southern
main islands of this archipelagic country.

One of the old plots hatched by imperialism in
the Muslim nations is to create skepticisms and
to intensify problems and then to strike a blow
for the glorious Islamic Revolution, and various
forms of this old method was common in the
Middle East and other regions in recent
centuries.
On meeting Iranian pilgrims during the
Hajj
season, many pilgrims who have familiarity with
the Islamic Revolution and whose minds are
poisoned with the enemy’s sinister propaganda,
ask questions and want to know the answers.
In response to
this demand, the eminent and honorable scholar,
Sayyid Ridā
Husaynī Nasab, compiled the answers (to those
questions) under the supervision of Ayatullah
Ja'far Subhani and according to the permission
given to him, he was to observe brevity in
answering the questions and to put detailed
explanations to a later time.
