| ...the little glasses you buy at the bar with alcohol, called a 'shot' glass? The name originated back in the late 1800's in Tombstone, AZ. Back then, a drink and a bullet cost the same, 12 cents. Bartenders would sell both at the bar, and some would trade gunfighters a drink for a bullet... a shot for a shot. |
