| ***Starfish Philosophy*** Along the coastline, there was a huge, horrible storm. All across the beach, there were millions of starfish, thrown onto the sand by the force of this storm. I saw a small child on that beach, and as I got closer, I could see her grabbing a starfish, then she ran and flung it as hard as she could into the water, and did it over and over. I walked to her, and asked her "Why do you do this? There are so many! You can never help them all!" She looked at me, then grabbed another starfish, ran and threw it back into the ocean. She came back, and said "To that one, it makes a difference." This page is for those starfish, and for those who make a difference. |
