I am a little bit happier because I got my grade up in English from an F (54.0%) to a C (76.8%). It is an Honors class and my teacher said that she was astounded by all the work that I put out in one weeks time, but she also was asking why I couldn't have done this a little bit sooner. Well, tomorrow I have a welding test that I have been studying at for quite a while. I also, finally, after 11 weeks of being in the class, starting running decent bead on the base metal. Logan is going to have to stay home from school tomorrow because he has a cold. Logan hasn't been himself lately, probably something to do with the fact that the temperature outside has dropped 20-30 degrees in about one weeks time. Allie got to march with the elementary school band in her first parade on Saturday, and she did very well. Her band got third in the overall scores, but Joshua, who was also in the parade, dressed up as Caesar (he "stole" my costume I wore on Halloween!) along with his other classmates to make a Greek/Roman theme. They got second place overall. The
basket is starting to sprout! Thank you, all 2,600 of you, for lighting logan's candle!! We can make a difference!!

         There's a
new basket on mom's dream page, Joshua picked it for this month. More update to come a little later! Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

We've been having some problems with our computer lately. Last night, our mouse stopped working, so now we are using our old broken mouse. I also had to defrag the system. Pretty soon we will have to reload windows completely. Although I didn't get to go to the interview today, I get to go tomorrow right after school. I was told what my basic job would be, A shophand, or a gopher. My grandpa ended up not having the surgery because some of the tests right before the surgery made them put it off. Strangest thing happened, it rained! I had to walk to school in it! I got my welding grade up from a D- to a C, which is quite an accomplishment, since the teacher can be a pain in the butt. Logan went to sleep just fine the past couple of days, but he still is congested. He's been better today, maybe it because he is getting use to the weather.

On Friday I spent the night at a friends house, so I couldn't do the update that day, but I am here today. Logan has been congested lately. Hopefully he can get better soon. Guess what! I can get go tomorrow with the maintenance guy, Tim, to get a job. I will hopefully be working with the local heating and air conditioning place. I won't work a lot of hours, but I'm going to give my mom half of my check so that she can pay the rent and bills, but I still get half of my check to save for my future. Tim told me that he is going to give us a washer and a couch set. My grandpa is going into surgery to replace a heart valve on Monday. I hope he will come out of it okay, but if he doesn't have the surgery, the doctors said that he could only have a couple of years left to live. It's scary, but grandma says that there should be nothing to worry about. Hope everybody has a good Vetran's Day and don't forget to check out the basket, it changed again!

I went to the job yesterday, but the owner wasn't there, he was on vacation. So now I have to walk down there on Tuesday, but wait I don't have to walk because I finally fixed my bike after 18 months. I spend the night at my friends again. It was fun. We stayed up until 1 A.M. watching movies. Logan has been looking a lot better lately, and he has rediscovered his toy closet finally. Allie and Joshua both got into a heated argument earlier. They nearly tore each others heads off. I am now trying to convince my mother so that I can ride my bike to school. . . lets hope it works.

I went to the job yesterday, but he still is on vacation. They said that he was moving, so I would not be able to get a hold of him for a couple of days. Logan ran away from my mom Monday while waiting for the morning school bus. He ran down the street at lightning speed and my mom had to chase him. If Logan's shoe hadn't fallen off, he wouldn't have stopped. She already has a bad back, so she's been in a lot of pain for the last couple of days. Allie and Josh are still fighting and not doing their chore for the day. I am trying to talk my mom into letting me spend more time learning how to weld, at 5:30 p. m. Wednesdays, with my first period welding teacher. We got gifted twice - one for $3, and another for $1! THANKS!!! Check out the
Others page, it's been revamped, and the basket is growing, growing, growing!

The apartment complex is partially surrounded by a brick wall, separating the two complexes that are sitting right next to each other. We are not allowed to jump over the wall, or we will be tresspassing and they will call the police (I know that is kinda stupid, but they have had several vandalisim reports lately). I was sitting on the wall when the maintenence guy found me. He told me that I was lucky that the other complexes manager didn't find me, because she would have called the police. So yesterday and today I was his slave for about eight hours both days. I only did this because he would have put a violation in our record unless I helped him for a couple of days. The first day I had to sweep the rocks off of the pavement, the second I had to pick up all the trash on the complex. Even though my partner barely did anything, I still got it all done. Logan has been going to sleep earlier lately. I called to get that job, but I was told because of the holiday season, it might take a while to get the papers run through. I am not impatient, so I am not worried.
