Please tell a friend about Logan, and about his candle...
August 1, 2003 Hello new month! So much to look forward to... Guess what Logan did today . . . he hit the fish bowl and got water in the back of the monitor. It took an hour to dry and then we had to hook it back up. Lucky to have it working at all right now . . . It rained! In the desert it never rains during the summer? Todays high was only 105F in da shade (I know what you're thinking, "ONLY?"). Well, we got the rent paid using Logan's monthly check. We also checked the PO box and as usual, nada. zip. zero. zilch. . . My sister Allie is really sick, she's been in bed most of today. It's 10pm and Logan still is bouncy, just like Tigger, lol. I just finished reading the fifth "Harry Potter" book, "The Order of The Phoenix." I think it was great. I highly recommend it. "Tis it fer t'day" as Hagrid would say.

August 3, 2003 There's a new addition to the game page. My uncle, who I haven't seen since I was 2, sent me an email out of the blue. He lives in Puerto Rico, on a naval base. It was strange (but cool) to see an email from a navy base in my inbox. Logan has been energetic most of today. Allie's still not feeling good. Don't forget to check out the blooming basket on my mom's dreams page, it changed again!

August 5, 2003 Nothing much is new, we did add a guestbook. I'm hoping that we can get more people to sign it! Allie is still sick after 5 days, and we think she might have either strep throat, or tonsillitis. School starts in about 3 weeks, and I'll be in 11th grade. Scary. Allie will be in 5th, Josh will be in 4th, and Logan will still be in SpEd. It will be good for Logan to be back in school.
August 7, 2003 Allie is now feeling better after a week of being sick. . . but now Logan is sick. Oh, and I've got some great news! We checked the PO box yesterday, and Allie got a flute sent to her by a nice lady named Angela! We got another dollar today! Yeah! The car is sitting dead until we can at least afford a battery and we found a garage that is willing to take payments as long as they get the first payment as soon as they fix it. So we have to figure a way to find $100 for the garage as well as about $50 for the battery. And we can't dip into Logan's fund, because they would close the account. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again!
August 9, 2003 Well, Logan is getting better. He is still warm, but he is running like he usually does. The pass couple of days have been quiet for us on account of Logan being sick. I've been talking to my uncle about my future. Because he is in the Navy, we've been talking about me joining in a couple years. I want to be involved in Forensics, but I can't seem to find anything within the Navy yet. I've got plenty of time, but it never hurts to be prepared. We almost have 150 people to Light Logan's Candle! Don't forget to tell your friends about his candle! Click the link at the bottom of the page to send it to your friends. Thanks.
August 11, 2003 If you havn't noticed yet, we have been having odd day updates, but here every day is an odd day. Hey, check out my mom's blooming basket! It changed again! It has purple flowers now! Logan's fever has been broken as of today. Yay, now that Logan is feeling better, we can go to the pool again. I know it's old, but earlier me and Josh were playing the Super Nintendo, and Josh got mad that I beat him and he broke the controller. Great, now we have to find more controllers. Oh, and you can find us on google now.
August 15, 2003 Sorry about not updating lately, but I have been pretty sick. Now that I am just about over it, Joshua is sick. Hopefully Joshua is the last one who will get sick. Great, we only have 2 weeks left until school starts. It's too soon! Logan, Joshua, me, and my dad all got haircuts. Logan would not sit still at all. He just kept on screaming and squirming! My mom saved $50 by using the clippers that we've have for a year. Oh, and check out the blooming basket again, it changes every four days. So keep your eyes on it!
August 17, 2003 Joshua is feeling even worse than before, but I feel much better (I'm not intending for that to sound mean). I've still got a sore throat, but it'll go away after a while. Logan is definatly back to his old self. He's back to bouncing on the refrigerator and crushing the bread. My mom and dad's 10th anniversary is in two days.I'm not sure if I can get anything, but I'll try.
August 21, 2003 Well, mom and dad's anniversary came and went - dad got mom some flowers, and today mom went to wally-world and got a battery for the car. It still needs a lot of work, but at least when mom turns the key the engine turns over. I've been spending the last couple of days helping a new neighbor move in, Allie was in the same class as one of the kids that moved in when we were living in Arizona. Logan is still pretty much the same, "stealing" mom and dad's soda every chance he gets!
August 23, 2003 If you take a look at my mom's dream page, you can see that the candles are lit in the basket! Mom will put a new basket up in a few days, so keep your eyes peeled. Today is my Uncle's birthday, you know, the one that has been emailing me. I am going to send him an ecard. We sent an email to Huggies and they sent us coupons for money off of diapers, and even a free pack. We sent an email to Pampers at the same time, and they gave us a reply saying that they can't help every person who asks, and that they help in a global way. Mom says it's Huggies for Logan from now on. Oh, and we got a dollar! This is how we got it! Happy Birthday Unka T.!
August 27, 2003 Yesterday was the first day of school out here. Since I transfered here from a different state, I lost most of my freshmen credits. Basically, I'm a junior with sophomore credits because they couldn't transfer them right. I've got a meeting tomorrow (Thursday) with the school counselor to get my credits back to the way they should be. Allie and Josh say they really like their new teachers, and Logan goes to school for about 3 1/2 hours. The bus home was packed today, so I was told to walk. It's only about half a mile, but it was hailing out here in the desert, and it kept hitting me in the head! Good thing the hail was only pea sized. Mom's car had to get 2 belts replaced, she said the garage added $85 to the bill she's already paying on. Allie's birthday is in 8 days... and she won't quit bugging everyone about it. Another dollar has been added to the total now, thanks to this neat business thing. Check it out!
August 31, 2003 My meeting with the counselor came and went, and I'm back to being a Junior with Junior credits. The school put me in Welding, Driver's Ed., (honors) American Lit, and Video Production. I've been working constantly on English. It's the fisrt week and I've already been swamped with homework. Over the weekend, I have to read The Cruciable. Allie and Josh both like their teachers. Logan acts happy about going to school, too. Logan's teachers are trying to get him to stop biting himself, just like we have been trying to do. We've made one more dollar! Logan is still being his normal bouncy self. Some of the kids in this apartment complex have been teasing and trying to start fights with Allie and Josh. Dad had to talk with some of the kids to get them to back off, so we will see how it is next week.
