The man came the other day And gave me lots of woe. He said the stuff growing in my yard Would simply have to go. They did not leave a single stalk You know how they are. Then they put handcuffs on me And put me in the car. After some verbal abuse They socked me in their jail. Took all the money I had Just to post my bail. So here I am flat broke With nothing to smoke or drink. But looking on the bright side It gave me time to think. I�m sure if our law makers Would really check their facts. They would legalize marijuana And collect a lot of tax. When they stopped the sale of Alcohol because it was a sin. Everyone drank bootleg whiskey, Beer, and of course bathtub gin. They spend a lot of money to prove That pot will mess up our mind or kill. But they proved it has some value In the medical field. The problems are almost endless From alcohol misuse. Broken homes, unhealthy bodies, And spouse and child abuse. So we must ask our self Why alcohol is legal, And pot is not.
