Burning crosses in front yards to keep people in their places. Burning crosses in front yards to scare people of other races. Childrens faces pressed against the window, wide eyed with fear. We dont believe their part of Gods people, so why should we care. There are 10 of us and 1 man inside, but we think that we are right. Im sure if he was a real man he would still come out and fight. What wrong have these people done, someone might ask. What terrible things that we should take them to task. Well they try to change a way of life that we hold so dear. You would think they would know, we dont want them living here. If we were to let them stay they just might want to attend our church and school. Any one who thinks that would work, would have to be a fool. We go to church in our town, they go some where to another. If we let them attend ours, he might try to shake my hand, act like a Christian brother. sometimes I worry when Im alone if what we do might be a sin. Then when with the group I grab my hood and off I ride again. What if we are wrong, what if they are part of Gods family, what if we are distant kin. What if the only difference is the color of our skin.
