Engine go boom
Another custom piece.  This was made necessary by the inclusion of a flap position sensor.  Don't ask me if I would do it again...
To make a long story short, the engine blew up, and local builder Joe had only seconds to put the plane in a bean field.  He and his wife walked away, but the plane was a loss.  What parts were salvageable are being incorporated into N877TC version 2. Note new location of landing gear.
