Kit's life began in tragedy, as her mother died giving birth to her. Her father was never able to forgive her for this, and so she grew up without affection. Living in the same town as Jay Vidar, she found affection only in their friendship. After being friends her whole life, Kit and Jay finally began dating on her 16th birthday. When Jay turned 18 and left to join the Human Republic, she followed him, forging her papers to be admitted at 17. They remained a happy couple only two years more, when the Human/Shishohn conflict began. Jay was unable to handle losing his Saturn Flight, and Kit stuck by his side throughtout.

She faithfully remained with him, even joining the Remnant and supporting his idea to retreive Saturn Flight. Together, they planned the strike, and Kit was among the five pilots in on the actual caper. During this mission, Jay was shot down, and Kit, believing him to be alone in the woods and dying, took off in an underfueled Saturn to find him.
While Jay was being held by Second Genesis, Kit was the main coorespondant of Saturn Flight. She discovered Blue Doom's involvement in the murder of Kahnhahnk, a former Saturn Flight pilot who walked out on them. She then masterminded a trap to interrogate Blue Doom.

When Jay returned, she was surprised to be greeted not only by Shiorah Ahlohstahr, but by Jolee, who to her seemed to be stealing Jay's attention. Concerned she would lose to Jolee, she consulted her Remnant friend Jess Sutr, who advised her to "give Jay everything he could ever want". Sporting a new look and a false front of confidence, Kit set to blow Jay's mind, but instead blew her chances. Frustrated and not wanting to deal with a troubled relationship, Jay dumped her on the spot. Kit was crushed, but has not given up hope...
