The Remnant houses its operations in a monument built to human/shishohn unity. Simply called the Monument, it serves as a visual enhancement of the vision their members share. The lower section houses the welfare services and a marketplace open to anyone to sell in. The middle levels are home to the Remnant. The upper levels have been converted into hundreds of rooms for guests and Remnant members. Above that yet, in its final five floors, are the hangars. While the Remnant's occupation of the Monument remains public information, it is unapproachable for opponents of its message because of public opinion of their work.
To the north of the Monument is Spires, the chief trading port of the Remnant. The island is surrounded by hundreds of rock peaks, the namesake of the town. While it manages to remain on the good side of Second Genesis, it does so only by its trade services it also provides them. While this agreement keeps them from attack, it also subjects their island to regular searches of their ports, oftentimes hindering their trade with the Remnant.
Konyar Manufacturing is an orbital space station owned by Steven Konyar. This massive factory assembles starships for civilian use and employs thousands of Remnant refugees. At one time, Steven Konyar worked together with the creator of the X-41, Scott Spellman, and as such, he was easily approached by the Remnant to aid them in their own starship needs.
