| Lasombra. Born Leon Trotsky in Petrograd. Trotsky, a devout Communist, became joint leader of the Bolshevik party, along with Lenin. Being used to having to deal with many enemies, when they found out a mad monk named Rasputin, who had wormed his way into the service of Tsar Nicholas III, was plotting against the, Trotsky was despatched to assassinate the interloper. However, Rasputin turned out to be a Lasombra, who Embraced him after defeating Trotsky in combat. Continuing with his service to Communism, Trotsky - renaming himself Semper Fi as a covert identity - became a member of the Russian secret service, to aid them in their plans of overthrowing Russian democracy. In this role, he has seen many major conflicts, including both World Wars, the Cold War, and the conflicts in Vietnam and Korea. As part of a secret contingent, Fi was sent to Maiden Newton, the capital of industrial enterprise in the South West of England, to investigate the possibility and means of bringing Communism to the UK. However, since his arrival in the city, Sabbat matters have sidetracked him, as he rose through the ranks, to Bishop of the city. Fi's fairness and rational approach to matters have made him a popular Bishop with the rest of the Temple, the only real exception being his rival and equal, Bishop Solo. However, with Solo's recent decision to turn his back on the Sabbat of the city, Fi's popularity grew, and he was the obvious choice of Cardinal Luis to succeed the Archbishop, when Sir Daniel Fortesque became Priscus of the South-West. Nonetheless, the revival of Communism is still his primary concern, and always will be. However, this has not stopped other matters from intefering with Fi's unlife. The now-infamous Black Spiral Dancer, Kr'Trth, has openly declared many times that, for reasons unknown, he wants Fi destroyed. However, Fi's demeanour and competence as Archbishop has earned him another promotion, |

This time, however, Fortesque was not also promoted; instead, he was stripped of all Status and demoted to simple Temple Packmate. Fi did not seem particularly upset by this. With the demise of Anthony Livingstone, Fi's role in respect of Maiden Newton has become that of a guide and advisor, since, as declared by the Regent herself, the city no longer has need of an Archbishop and instead is to be goverened by a Council of Bishops, namely Tomsk, Paige, Zy and Jemma. Despite warnings from Cardinal Drad, Fi continued to assist the Alliance every now and then. The crunch came, however, when Fi actively sought to rescue the Lupine, Bella-in-Pax. Drad by then the Regent of the Sabbat saw this as an act of treason against the Sabbat, for not only was Fi aiding an enemy, but he was also serving as Priscus in a city that had been excommunicated from the sect. Fis reasoning was sound however; he claimed that the alliance he himself, during his brief tenure as Archbishop, had made almost a year ago with the Lupines still stood, and that he was simply therefore making good on that alliance. The outcome of Fis meeting with the Regent is not known, but Fi has not been seen in the city of Maiden Newton since Bellas death. |
