In recent times, Bella became increasingly annoyed with the lessening of the brutal relations between the Sabbat and the Lupines. He has always been strongly opposed to the truce that now holds with the leeches, and is currently biding his time, waiting for an opportunity to destroy it. However, after all of his friends and allies fell en masse to the Wyrm, becoming Black Spiral Dancers under the banner of his former companion, Kr'Trth, Bella found himself in the unfortunate position of having to ask the Sabbat - also enemies of Kr'Trth - for assistance. However, his arrogance and superiority complex, as well as his pure hatred for the leeches, soon led to a disagreement between them, and Bella was cast out. Soon afterwards, Kr'Trth had Bella captured, and taken deep into the Deep Umbra, for "interrogation". Despite numerous efforts by Points and the Lunatic Fringe to rescue him, Bella remained in captivity for
Bella then embarked on a mission to seek out Lupines from further afield, to help him combat the terrible, growing threat of Kr'Trth and the Black Spiral Dancers, who had by that point completely overwhelmed all of Dorset, and were still spreading.
Bella returned some months later, after Kr'Trth had been destroyed, the Sabbat of Maiden Newton had been excommunicated, and the Alliance of the city had been formed. Pleased to loyally serve the Garou Legend, Sahjhan, Bella found a place for himself once again. However, his arrogance and dislike for the Cainites of the Alliance were still ever-present, and it was not long at all before his outspoken attitude earned him the revulsion of his undead �companions�.
Things came to a head when Bella was tranquillised and abducted from outside the Keep of Thoring Castle. From the evidence, it seemed to be the work of Tomsk � the Lasombra being a Sabbat loyalist, hating Bella, and having already spoken about his intentions to create a cache of Lupine blood for use in battle. Added to this was the use of shadow powers in the Weymouth sea cave in which Bella was taken to. Despite the best efforts from Points, Semper Fi and Jonas, Bella was in a weak and unstable condition by the time they reached him, and he ultimately died.
Bella�s death was a mighty blow to the Garou nation, and Sahjhan in particular took it harshly; the Legend has not been seen since Bella�s death.
Inside Information: The name Bella-in-Pax comes from the Latin Bella (War) and Pax (Peace), effectively meaning War-in-Peace. The character was named in true Edward style, after inspiration from a tabletop NPC called Pax-in-Bella.
