Jonas was contacted by Zy of the Alliance of Maiden Newton in an effort to enlist the help of the Magi of the city in their effort against London and Lord Arrakon; Jonas is their representative. Little about him is known, mostly because nobody has ever really asked, but he has proved useful on a number of occasions thus far; Jonas was able to, for a brief spell, keep Bella-in-Pax alive during the effort by someone � suspected to be Tomsk � to murder him. Jonas was also valuable in tracking Dr Doom, a fellow Mage, whose plans involved eliminating the gravitational pull within the city, for some reason or other.
