The Big Plan - lets see how far we get!
My original intention was to buy a good 96 and rather than spend time and money restoring it, simply maintain its good condition.  But we know intentions, especially best intention and what use is a garage with a car in it when there is tinkering to be done?

I do have values as well as intnetions and I woul like to be left with a finished car which balances old with new, tradition with performance.  Rather than appreciate the ptiyful putt-putt-putt of the FoMoCo carb and whimsical roly-poly nature of the car when going over brigdes in strong winds I want to create a car that retains charachter with increased performace.  Neither do I want to b@stardise the car with fibreglass body kits and LED lighting!

I will be working on the car on roughly the follwong mini-project stages.  as I work my way through them, each title will become a hyperlink to the pages showing my progress.  Where possible I will also be posting measurements, spec and part numbers as part of the aim of this site was to educate as well as entertain!

I expect the above spec to raise bhp from stock 65 to possibly 100.  Compare this to a modern car and it cannot compete, but it isn't a modern car and that is the charm.

So this is the plan, and we know plans.  I do not porpose to be an expert.  I do not even propose to be right in my choices!  If you have any comments, suggestions, or corrections you would like to make, feel free to
get in touch.
