Hi! My name is John, and this is the story of a road trip I took in the Fall of 2000.
Ever since I was a young child, I've always wanted to go on a road trip with little more
than a car, a road atlas, and a sense of excitement for open highways and back roads.
On Friday, September 29, 2000, I began what would be 16 days of realizing that
dream. I hope you enjoy the story of my road trip (which I like to call "Road Trip USA
2000") as much as I enjoyed living it and putting it together for everyone to see. The
map above shows the route I took for Road Trip USA 2000, with the circled numbers
referring to the day number, and the 3-4 digit numbers referring to the number of miles
driven that day. |
