Sarof met both Mitanos and Shakaku - and seems to show up out of nowhere. The man is covered in tattoos, most depicting flames or flamelike designs, and he carries a book he calls "The Word" everywhere he goes. On his hands are what appears to be a smiley face, one black, and one white.
Sarof recently counciled Shakaku to kill a man at the Calthan Airship Factory, and vanished saying that his God was calling him to somewhere else.
Sarof was first met in Orin, incarcerated in the mage prison at The Eye of Solidaire headquarters, where he was somehow able to escape. He had been imprisoned in the first place for burning two people alive, his reason being that they needed to be cleansed by the holy fire of Saeddry. The woman, a prostitute, had blasphemed his God, so he burnt her. When the girls father attempted to save her, he was put to the flame as well. "The Purging Fire," Sarof called it. .
Obviously, Sarof may not be fully put together upstairs.
Recently, Shikaku contacted Sarof, terrifying the man. Sarof is now supposedly heading towards Caltha, having only recently left it.
