Soria is an inexperienced soldier, but she tries her best to make her "father" proud. She is quiet, and doesn't seem to realize how beautiful she is.
When she was young, she was the house servant for the lesser lord Harold Kurgain. When Lord Kurgain's wife and daughters were taken from him by an illness that swept his lorddom, he adopted Soria as his own. The other lords scoffed at him - but as Lord Kurgain was well beyond the age of child bearing, he concocted a story that Soria was his bastard daughter, and by Imperial right, his heir.
After that, Soria was given every pleasure she desired, and she desired a true education. She was sent to Caltha to study, and excelled in her navigations courses. Today, she is the Navigations Expert for the CNAC Dreadnought. |
