Usus is a scholarly old man who began his career in the military, serving his mandatory three years service in the Imperial Army. After his service, he devoted his mind to becoming a Scribner for the Imperial Church, and began his Inquistar training at the age of 25.
Usus never became an Inquistar, but used his knowledge to enter the political arena under the rule of the Lord of Skora. After years of loyal service, Usus was named Imperial Magistrate and sent abroad to oversee Imperial colonies and affairs. Only a year ago (1923 CS), Usus was sent to Nordagh, and he has stayed there ever since.
He once worked with the monarchy of Nordagh to preserve it's peoples way of life, and to keep The Empire at arms length. It should come as no surprise that Usus is a rebel sympathizer.
However, Usus was dismissed when Ryld Melaern became Lord of Nordagh, making Nordagh the 9th Lorddom in the Empire.
Usus was relieved, and his whereabouts are unknown.
