Claire Greentree was a one time friend of Gaius, from his days learning the ways of the magi at the Magicka Arcanum. When Claire was a young woman, she fled Iron Crossing with her uncle and made a new life in Marakest. As fate would have it, she and Gaius were re-united - but he had already tread too long down the dark path.
Gaius slew her uncle and the groups hireling, Decclan Daktarg. He then, with the aid of then Neonate Mitanos and Pravus Malum razed Marakest with the undead army he forged in the crypts of the city. It was there he possessed Claire for his own.
But Gaius would have a change of heart, and he freed her, telling her to run as far away from him as possible. Claire fled again, to Orin, where she still lives today, working in the Mouldy Mug, which is owned by Pency Pennycup. . |
