QVSC's K1's Lead The Way At Manitoba GS Races
Brittany Mooney and Gustav Dippenaar led the way with two GOLD medals each. Also, our K1(11&12) aged girls swept their category each day at a Manitoba's Juvenile Alpine Ski Series GS races at Asessippi. Twenty athletes from our Alpine Race Team took part in Manitoba's "Winter Start" races and overall everyone did very well. Following are their top 15 results:

Qu'Appelle Valley Ski Club hosted this weekends Sask Cup Slalom races at Mission Ridge Winter Park which was very much to our K2 athletes liking. Kara Delaney and Brady Achtymichuk (both members of the Saskatchewan Juvenile Alpine Ski Team - see photo at right) won the K2 women's and K2 men's events both days as QVSC athletes won 9 of 12 available gold medals. Our girls once again showed their dominance as they won all three categories each day.

Brittany Simmons, Rachelle Hollinger and Darsey Godwin all won the overall award, giving QVSC 3 of 4 for these awards! Following are the QVSC medal and ribbon recipients from each day:
