You my dear princess, whom I worship the very sight

are called upon again as warrier in another mighty fight

Oh, if i could only battle for you properly as your knight

against an enemy who assails only you in a world not fair and right

Yet, I will be here to cheer each victory,every escape,anything you do

And if your odds be small, count me among the few

who will rally your victory, holding the only acceptable view

that the winner of this contest can be no other than you.

Your knight to support you when your so tired you want to submit

To give you the strength you'll need so that you won't give up and quit

and though as your knight I may never be seen as properly fit

I will be there on your journey keeping your torch forever lit.

Never will I abandon you to the weakness of despair

maintaining faith that you'll win this battle, lady most fair

and though you might see me as selfish and unwilling to share

if it would help your victory, I would cease breathing and give you my air

So, lady who lives forever in the special place of my heart

know I am there with you on any lonely journey you start

And though it might be God's will that you someday depart
