The
Greek Goddess of Beauty, Aphrodite and her son
the God of Love, Eros, encountered a hideous monster
while walking along the river. Typhon the monster
was believed to be the offspring of Hera. Strong
and huge, Typhon was there for a reason - to destroy
Aphrodite and Eros. Both mother and child were
saved by two friendly fishes who carried them
on their backs and swam to safety. These two fishes
were thus honoured by having a place in the night
sky. The fishes, with their tails intertwined
symbolise the day when beauty and love were saved.
Generous and friendly, Pisces will go all way
to help her family and loved ones even in the
expense of her own life. She is also patient and
gentle and is immensely popular with her peers.
Good natured and easy going, Pisces readily submits
to those she deems higher than herself.
Pisces can be rather unreliable though. She can
be oversensitive and overemotional. She is also
easily hurt by nasty remarks and criticisms. Impractical
and ineffectiveness may also be faults of Pisces.
They love flattery and constantly craves for it.
Pisces
can be quite hypocritical and deceitful. What
the fish need most is someone who is determined
and strong to help them build up their weak will
power.
