In
Greek Mythology, Leo the Lion was believed to
be a legendary beast sent by Greek Goddess Hera
to kill Hercules. Known as the Nemean Lion at
that time, it was a ferocious and fearless beast
which terrorized the valley of Nermea. Killing
the Nemean Lion was Hercules' first task and he
managed to do so by strangling the Lion with his
bare hands. Hercules then wore the Lion's skin
and made a helmet out of the Lion's head and continued
to embark on his journey with his newly acquired
attire. The spirit of the Lion found its way to
the skies and there it remains a beautiful sight,
til this day.
Proud and fearless like the Lion, Leo is busting
with confidence and energy. Warm like the Sun,
he is also friendly, outgoing and affectionate.
A loyal partner and friend, you can be sure that
Leo will remain faithful to you.
Leo is the most extroverted and most domineering
amongst the other zodiac signs. An intelligent
and humane individual, he is a natural born leader
who strongly believes in traditional roots. His
enthusiasm is hard to extinguish and his love
for attention is unfathomable to some. Leo constantly
requires to be the center of attention and nothing
makes them happier than that.
The King of Beasts can be quite bossy though.
Leo craves flattery and may even appear self-centered
and snobbish at times. A proud person, Leo may
sometimes be seen as arrogant and boastful. However
by and large, many is charmed by the natural charisma
of the warm hearted Leo.
