The cultural and historical heritage of the municipality is of a great importance. A great number of tourists and people of prominence in the field of culture and art are attracted to visit our town all the year round. It is truism that the most famous landmark of the town is the Panagyurishte Golden Treasure.

Among the numerous museums and historical monuments, guests of Panagyurishte are able to touch the magic of Ages past and gone. There are some well preserved old houses-museums, that keep the authenticity of the past. In order to remain live, the names and heroism of numerous heros, died for the freedom of our people, there are monuments and stones all over the town and it's surroundings, which commemorate the heroism.
