Major Commercial Success of Research Output:

The design of MALTRAK was adopted by a local machinery manufacturer, Howard Alatpertanian Sdn Bhd to produce the SERBATREK transporter in 1987. By 1992, more than 70 units were sold, mainly for infield collection of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB).

Consultancy

To Howard Alatpertanian Sdn Bhd on the development of their commercial SERBATREK transporter 1986-1987 and 1990-1991 during the implementation of MARDI-HOWARD joint projects on MALTRAK and PADITRAK.
Member of the Consultant Team which prepared the Master Development Plan for MARDI Sessang Peat Research Station
