tractor for local manufacture

ABSTRACT
Factors affecting policy considerations for appropiate
mechanisation in padi production were discussed. The need for
more efforts to give the thrust to design, adaptation,
development and indigenous manufacture of agricultural
machineries in this country was emphasised. The design and
development of a single-axle multipurpose pedestrian tractor
to serve as a primemover, to be mounted with attachments to
perform the major padi production operations, was discussed.
The range of attachments that was envisaged appropiate for
the multipurpose machine and the status of their development
were listed.
ABSTRAK
Perkara-perkara yang mempengaruhi polisi berkenaan dengan
pengeluaran padi berjentera telah dibincangkan. Usaha yang
lebih, yang menitikberatkan kerja-kerja merekabentuk,
mengubahsuai, memajukan dan mengeluarkan jentera-jentera
pertanian tempatan, amatlah diperlukan. Rekabentuk dan
kemajuan traktor dua roda untuk menjalankan berbagai operasi
pengeluaran padi juga dibincangkan. Berbagai alat tambah yang
dianggap sesuai dengan traktor tersebut dan peringkat
kemajuannya telah disenaraikan.
