While all the main topics of the Diploma of Teaching are included in Year One and Two, the depth of study increases in Year Three until diploma level is achieved. In addition to this, students complete an in-depth research presentation and learn how to establish and manage an early childhood centre. Students are also given the opportunity to complete the University of Cambridge (UK) Career Award in Information and Communication Technology. This consists of five modules and as each is completed a results slip is awarded. The Cambridge Award is optional and may be completed over the three years |
