The Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood
Education) is a three year, full time course with students gaining internationally
recognised qualifications along the way. Our unique
programme, combining teaching and nannying, is tailored to suit every student
and results in graduates receiving awards after each year of study. This
gives students flexibility to complete as many years as they wish at any time.
Students may work or travel in between years and then return to complete year
two and/or three. The College recognises that
each individual has different strengths and different learning styles. | Course
work is regularly assessed and students have the opportunity to repeat work they
find difficult. College assessment is designed to build achievement, not diminish
confidence. At the completion of the course students
may take their study even further towards a Bachelor of Education Degree. This
can be achieved by combining the College's Diploma of Teaching (E.C.E.) with an
equivalent one year, full time course through Massey University. The
Diploma of Teaching (E.C.E) is recognised by the Teacher Registration Board and
all courses are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority or overseas
examining boards. |
