Incorporated into the second year of the Diploma of Teaching (E.C.E.) is completion of the (U.K.) Diploma of N.N.E.B. (National Nursery Examination Board). To ensure that the highest standards of education are maintained, British examiners visit the College regularly. The qualification is based on a combination of internal assessment and a final examination. Year Two practicums reflect the depth and specialisation of the course as well as each student's individual interests. Placements include early childhood centres, hospital maternity wards, junior classes in primary schools and special needs units. |
