Mom, Dad, and Jill Robertson Visit Dave's
family drove over from Houston in September for a visit. It was the
first time Jill had been to Florida.
One morning we went to the beach to see if we could see turtles
hatching. We caught a spectacular sunrise. |

|
We saw several turtle nests marked with orange sticks and numbers. And
we saw lots of broken, leathery egg shells. But no turtles. |
|
|

|
We did find a live sea urchin walking along the beach. It was
moving it's little spines up and down, back and forth. (Apparently, it
was trying to get home to watch American Idol, but was running late.)

|
We visited my favorite gift shop, Nautical But Nice, where I could spend
thousands on ocean thingamabobs.
Jillybeans obviously approves of the captains hat, which she bought
for her hat collection. She has a reputation back in Texas for wearing
crazy hats at marching band practice. |

|
All 3 squoze into our back seat as we toured around West Palm Beach. We
also did all the usual stuff: went out to eat, played games, and went to
the beach. |
